Melanie Rodriguez is a Family Advocate at The Tree House. Melanie graduated from the University of Maryland in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Prior to her role at Tree House, Melanie worked in background investigations, which helped her develop a thorough and empathetic approach to handling sensitive situations. Her firsthand experience with language barriers has made her passionate about bridging those gaps. She is deeply committed to ensuring that the families she serves can overcome these obstacles with the right support and resources.

Melanie’s personal and professional values align with Tree House’s mission. She believes every child deserves to be heard, supported and knows healing can be truly powerful.

Fun fact: Melanie played college soccer for two years, but her favorite matches are with her three-year-old!
