Make a Referral

Connecting a child to the Tree House starts here. Families and partners can refer a child to free medical, forensic, therapy, and advocacy services, all under one roof and at no cost to the family.

Who Can Make a Referral

Referrals to the Tree House come from our community partners, including Child Welfare Services, partner agencies, a child's school, or a child's pediatrician.


If you are a parent or caregiver seeking services, you can ask one of these providers to send a referral on your child's behalf. If you are not sure who to contact, reach out to us. The Tree House can help direct your family to the right community providers.

What happens next

After we receive a referral from an authorized provider, we contact the caregiver directly to set up a short phone screen. Next, we schedule an intake appointment. The intake meeting helps us understand what therapy services a child needs.


Every step is handled with care, in English or Spanish, and at no cost to your family. If you have questions while you wait to hear from us, you can always reach out.
