Charlie is the founder of Derwood Partners, a management consulting firm in the Washington DC area. A former senior vice president at the National Geographic Society, he has extensive experience in business development, strategic partnerships and leading strategy development teams. Charlie was a founding member of The Tree House CAC board, serving as vice president and president.

Charlie’s experience is helping organizations run efficiently and effectively. His role as director of the Tree House CAC is one of the most challenging yet rewarding of his career.

Charlie lives in Rockville, MD with his wife and two teenage sons.
