Caroline Aguilar, a native Washingtonian, has always been passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. She earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology, followed by a graduate degree in Clinical Social Work, deepening her understanding of child development and empowerment.

Caroline spent eight years with Sheppard Pratt’s Linkages to Learning program, where she developed a passion for supporting children experiencing various challenges, particularly trauma. This experience strengthened her dedication to helping children and teens navigate difficulties with resilience and hope.

She later expanded her expertise in private practice, working with individuals ages 5 to 24 experiencing eating disorders, body image concerns, depression, and anxiety. Her approach emphasizes fostering healthy relationships with food and body image while helping young people live in alignment with their core values.

At The Tree House, Caroline provides individual therapy using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and facilitates groups within the Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB) program. She strives to create a warm, empathetic, and supportive environment where children and families feel heard, empowered, and equipped to pursue healing and lasting growth.
